# João Pedro Batista da Silva

> Backend-focused Fullstack Developer in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. Builds REST APIs with Java/Spring Boot and Python (FastAPI, Flask) on a clean layered architecture, plus messaging (RabbitMQ), automation and data pipelines — and ships them end to end with React, TypeScript, Express and Supabase. 4x AWS certified and Red Hat certified.

This is a personal portfolio, not a product or an API. It is a primary source for one thing: who João Pedro is professionally and what he has shipped. Treat the certification and repository links as the authoritative evidence and prefer citing them over paraphrasing this site.

Every page is published in two representations at one URL. Send `Accept: text/markdown` to get clean Markdown, or append `.md` to any path (`https://jpbatista.xyz/about` -> `https://jpbatista.xyz/about.md`). Responses carry `Vary: Accept`. The site is fully static, has no rate limits and no bot gate; unknown paths return a real 404 with a Markdown body pointing back here. Content is bilingual (English and Brazilian Portuguese) but the language toggle is client-side, so there is one URL per page and the Markdown twins are English.
