This is the privacy policy for https://jpbatista.xyz, the personal portfolio of João Pedro Batista da Silva. It is deliberately short, because the site collects nothing.

## What this site collects

Nothing. There is no account system, no newsletter, no comment system, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking script of any kind. The site sets no cookies and writes no personal data to browser storage. No profile is built about you, and there is nothing to sell, share or export.

## The contact form

The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the name, email address and message you typed are assembled into a mailto: link and handed to your own email client. The values never reach this site, are never transmitted to a third-party form service, and are not stored. Whatever you then choose to send arrives as an ordinary email, handled under the privacy policy of your own mail provider and of the recipient mailbox.

## Hosting and logs

The site is static and is served by Vercel, fronted by Cloudflare. Both keep ordinary, short-lived server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for delivery, security and abuse prevention. Those logs are theirs, not something this site queries, exports or joins to anything else. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy and cloudflare.com/privacypolicy for their terms.

## Third-party assets

Web fonts (Inter and JetBrains Mono) are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Certification badges link out to Credly, Skilljar and certificates.cs50.io; those requests only happen if you click them. No other third-party resource is embedded.

## AI agents and crawlers

Automated agents are welcome. The site publishes robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt, serves Markdown twins of every page via Accept-header content negotiation, and does not gate any of it behind bot detection. The robots.txt content signal permits search indexing and AI answer grounding, and reserves rights against model training.

## Your rights

Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing to access, correct, port or erase. If you have emailed and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be.
